Bond, James Bond
Okay, here's the deal. The newest 007 movie is coming out November 17th, and the Bond movies have been re-released by MGM. Those of you who know me pretty well know that I've been predicting this for a while, and that the price will be sky-high for the boxed sets. You'll also know that I'm going to buy them anyhow.
That being said, I think it's time for some Q&A with our intrepid readership, which may or may not consist solely of Mike Houston.
Jack, Dave, I expect responses from you two as well!
1. Who was the best Bond, James Bond?
2. Who was the worst 007?
3. Who was the hottest Bond girl ever? Back up your opinion with a pic!

Sean Connery. Hands down.

Jinx - aka Halley Berry. Do I really need a pic? I just think about her sunbathing in Swordfish :P
4. What's the cheesiest Bond line?
'Bond, James Bond' Honestly, if you think about it, it really is cheesy. However at the same time its insanely cool all because of Mr. Connery. And the fact he shagged really hot women.
5. What's the coolest contraption ever created by Q (or R)
The last Bond car, which could be invisible was pretty good. The exploding pen though works as well. 'Hey professor, use my pen... hehehe'
6. Is Daniel Craig the next Sean Connery, or the next Timothy Dalton? Watch Layer Cake. Then realize he just may be greater than Sean Connery.
You do (believe it or not) have other readers so here are the official (British) answers:
1. The greatest Bond is of course Sean Connery (I defy anyone to find a convincing argument otherwise) and he gets extra points for making the Scots accent the most desirable speech impediment ever.
2. Worst ever? Pierce Brosnan. I can't stand the direction in which the recent films have gone, he's a perfectly adequate Remington Steele but that really isn't the same thing.
3. Greatest bond girl? For this we must go back to the very beginning, Dr. No and Ursula Andress. It's just a shame they felt it necessary to dub over her voice.
4. Worst line? This must be close:
Hugo Drax: "Why did you break up the encounter with my pet python?"
Bond: "I discovered it had a crush on me." (Moonraker)
Of course, as we all know the above was not an isloated incident. However, for better or for worse the one-liners have been fairly well cemented in the franchise.
5. So close with the Vanquish but I'd much rather have the DB5.
6. As the new film has (supposedly) gone for a grittier feel Craig could just be the man for the job, I wait with bated breath.
